Menopause + Expert Health Advice Event
SE17 | Saturday 18th October, 4.30–6pm
This Menopause Awareness Day, take time to focus on you. We’re bringing together movement and medical expertise in one empowering afternoon designed to support your health now and in the future.
The event begins with a 45-minute Reformer Pilates L1 class led by Filiz, where controlled, tempo-led sequences will help you build strength, improve mobility, support pelvic floor health, and release stress.
After class, join Dr Tosin Sotubo-Ajayi (GP, women’s health advocate and TV medic) for an insightful talk and Q&A. Dr Tosin will share practical strategies to navigate peri- and post-menopause, as well as advice for younger women on how to put foundations in place early to support long-term health and wellbeing.

ARM BALANCING WORKSHOP

Curious about crow pose? Want to build confidence lifting off the mat? Join expert Tempo Yoga trainer Carol for a 50-minute small-group workshop focused on the fundamentals of arm balancing,
You’ll warm up the wrists, shoulders, and core, then explore accessible techniques for poses like crow and flying lizard. Expect hands-on guidance, helpful props, and clear progressions! Ideal if you’re new to arm balances or looking to improve your technique. Limited to just 12 spaces, you’ll get personalised attention and leave feeling stronger, more confident, and ready to build your arm balance practice.

PREGNANCY WELLNESS WORKSHOP

Join us for a 90-minute wellness experience designed to support expectant mothers through the powerful combination of Reformer Pilates and pregnancy massage. Led by Gina, Head Trainer at Tempo 301, and Tonia Mee, specialist massage therapist, this intimate workshop offers expert guidance on movement, recovery, and relaxation during pregnancy.

Gina will guide you through a gentle yet strengthening Reformer Pilates class tailored specifically for pregnancy. You’ll learn techniques to improve posture, build stamina for labour, and ease common pregnancy discomforts — all in a supportive, small-group environment.
5.15-6PM: PREGNANCY SELF MASSAGE TECHNIQUES & WELLNESS TALK WITH TONIA
Tonia shares the benefits of massage throughout pregnancy, focusing on techniques that are safe and effective for each trimester. Using bolsters for added comfort, you’ll explore the use of essential oils to help manage stress, support relaxation, and ease common symptoms such as muscle tension and nausea. You’ll learn simple self-massage techniques and take away practical wellness tips covering rest, nutrition, and mindfulness. The session closes with guided breathwork and visualisation to promote calm and connection.

This Mental Health Awareness Week, we invite you into a quieter kind of space – one designed for rest, release and reconnection.
In the calm of our newly opened Studio 2 at SE17, join Carol and Cass for 90 soothing minutes of gentle movement and meditative sound. You’ll begin with a grounding Flow & Restore, Tempo Yoga practice, followed by a deeply immersive Sound Bath. From the moment you arrive, this experience is designed to feel like an escape – soft light, stillness, warmth and space to just be. You won’t want to be anywhere else.
