Tempo 301 Trainer - Marianna Mouaimi

MARIANNA MOUAIMI

TRAINER | TEMPO PILATES

“My favourite reformer Pilates class. Marianna is an excellent teacher. The perfect workout” – ClassPass

Marianna, originally from Cyprus, came to London at the age of 18 to study Theatre Dance at London Studio Centre, University of the Arts London, where she gained a BA Honours. Since then she has been based in London as a professional contemporary dancer and performing artist collaborating with various choreographers and directors.

She has also successfully gained her IDTA teaching qualifications up to the advanced level enabling her to teach Ballet as well as other dance disciplines to various dancing schools. Whilst performing she suffered a knee injury and turned to Pilates for rehabilitation, and has been in love with it ever since! Pilates got her back into dancing. She finds Pilates training essential after seeing the benefit of the discipline, and the controlled, intelligent movement.

Wanting to share this passion for the method she decided to take the STOTT Pilates course and after completion, she has been lucky enough to join the Tempo Pilates team.

Marianna’s Fitness Philosophy  – “Mens sana in corpore sano” the Latin phrase widely used to express the theory that physical exercise is an essential part of mental and psychological well-being.

Let’s try and restore this spartan ideal of a healthy mind in a healthy body! Don’t train for a special event, train for life!

Why Marianna’s class?  She finds Pilates indispensable for keeping the body balanced, integrated and for rehabilitating the body. She very much enjoys helping others discover better posture and helping them discover their own way of moving mindfully to reconnect the mind with the body. Her background in dance makes her see movement differently. In her class, she will make sure that you will find your flow, your groove, your inner rhythm and the pleasure when in pain!!
