Tempo 301 Trainer - Amanda Formisano

AMANDA FORMISANO

TRAINER | TEMPO PILATES

“Amanda was an amazing instructor. You could tell she really knows her stuff. Managed to fit so much amazing pilates into one hour. She’s got such a great voice for teaching!” – ClassPass

With a background in history and anthropology which took her everywhere from New Delhi to Neolithic Naples, followed by a period as an achy-backed pastry chef in many more beautiful places, Amanda found Pilates to realign her sore spine. It didn’t take long for it to embed itself in her sense of self and it’s also what brought her back to London so that she could train in a contemporary approach to the classical method with STOTT (mat and reformer). Amanda continues to add to her expanding movement repertoire, most recently undergoing vinyasa and pregnancy yoga and Pilates teacher training. Music has always been central to her mental and physical well-being and her background in contemporary dance heavily influences her teaching style, keeping it graceful and playful.

Amanda’s Fitness Philosophy – “We’re made to move. The rest of life follows more fully.”

Why Amanda’s class? To find strength in softness and softness in strength, no matter what stage you’re at.
